Hoang Liet Ward was established under Resolution No. 142-NGQ-CB/QT dated April 2, 1955 of the Inter-Zone 3 Administrative Committee. Over the past 70 years, from a commune to a ward, Hoang Liet has achieved many encouraging achievements, continuously recognized as a strong and clean Party organization, a typical strong and clean one; awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Government and recognized by the Hanoi People's Committee as meeting new rural standards.
Currently, Hoang Liet is one of the wards of Hoang Mai district that is rapidly urbanizing, with over 90 high-rise apartment buildings and the largest population in the city: 94,860 people with 45 residential groups. The ward party committee has 34 affiliated party cells, with a total of 2,405 party members...
In terms of implementing the annual socio-economic development targets and tasks, the ward has always completed well and exceeded the set plan; the economy has always developed stably, grown quite well, and the total annual budget revenue has always exceeded the assigned target. The total budget revenue for the 5 years from 2020 to 2024 reached 188,055 billion VND, reaching approximately 123% of the assigned target. In 2024 alone, it reached 53 billion VND, an increase of nearly 6 times compared to 2004 (9 billion VND). People's lives have been increasingly improved. Up to now, the ward no longer has poor or near-poor households.
With the results and achievements, in 2006, the people and cadres of Hoang Liet Ward were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal in the renovation period. Notably, from 2020 onwards, the Ward Party Committee has been assessed by the District Party Committee as having achieved outstanding results for 5 consecutive years; the Ward People's Committee was awarded Certificates of Merit by the City People's Committee in 2020, 2021, 2023 and the Flag of Excellent Unit in the emulation movement in 2022, 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of Hoang Mai District Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Linh congratulated and affirmed that the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Hoang Liet commune and ward is an important milestone, an honor and pride of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Liet ward in the process of construction and development.
Affirming that Hoang Liet ward still has many potentials and advantages that have not been fully exploited, in order to contribute to the capital and the country entering the "New Era - The Era of the nation's rise", comrade Nguyen Xuan Linh suggested that the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Liet ward promote the achieved results, arouse the sense of responsibility, the exemplary vanguard role of the team of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in performing their tasks. Thoroughly grasp and have specific measures, effectively organize the implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; promptly resolve pressing issues of people's livelihood, continue to improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people...
In particular, the Party Committee and the ward government need to continue to focus on leadership and direction to promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation, strive to exceed the targets and tasks of socio-economic development in 2025, contributing to the capital achieving the economic growth target of over 8%.
On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Liet ward were awarded the Flag of Excellent Unit in the emulation movement in 2024 by the Hanoi People's Committee; many collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Hoang Mai District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of Hoang Liet commune and ward.
