Ensuring power supply for political events

Along with providing electricity for production, business and people's daily life, Phu Tho Electricity Company focuses on implementing timely and safe power supply plans for major political and social events taking place in the province.

The Remote Control Center (Phu Tho Electricity Company) monitors the operating status of the medium and high voltage grid on the system, contributing to improving the quality and reliability of power supply.

It is forecasted that in 2025, the commercial electricity output in the province will be about 4.7 billion kWh, an increase of 13.7% compared to 2024, the largest daily electricity output will be 16.5 million kWh, an increase of 11.2% compared to 2024. Faced with the pressure of increasing electricity demand, Phu Tho Electricity Company has proactively developed a suitable electricity supply plan, prioritizing electricity supply for important political and social events and electricity customers according to the priority list approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2025, important political and social events will take place in the province such as: Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival; High School Graduation Exam; Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation Day on April 30, the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2... In order for the events to take place continuously and successfully, Phu Tho Electricity Company directs its affiliated units to strengthen inspection, review and timely handle existing problems and defects on the power grid; proactively develop a reasonable power source and grid operation plan to ensure power supply to event venues.

Each event has a different nature, scale and location, so when planning the power supply, the Company always carefully prepares backup plans and promptly changes the power supply method flexibly in case of incidents on the power grid.

On the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, Phu Tho Power Company has prepared a plan to ensure safe power supply. Comrade Pham Van Chuc - Deputy Director of Phu Tho Power Company said: "In order for the power grid in the province to operate safely, stably and reliably to serve political, cultural and social activities on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, Phu Tho Power Company has developed a power supply plan, built a reasonable wiring method, with the highest level of safety for the power grid. In particular, focusing on ensuring safe and continuous power supply in the Hung Temple area and the venue for activities serving the Ancestral Land such as the opening art program of the Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2025, fireworks display and other cultural, sports and tourism activities".

Along with ensuring power supply for events, the Company also thoroughly strengthens operational discipline, security protection, labor safety, and fire prevention. At the same time, it requires its affiliated power companies to closely coordinate with local authorities and event organizers to grasp the time and location of the event, thereby arranging a reasonable power supply method; arranging workers to be on duty throughout the event days and fully preparing materials and equipment to be ready to handle any incidents or problems that may arise.

Proactive operation and careful preparation of plans are important factors, contributing to ensuring a stable and continuous power source to serve important political and social events in the province in 2025.
