On the afternoon of September 26, in Yen Mo district, the Provincial Youth Union held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement in the first 9 months of the year, deploy key tasks for the last 3 months of 2023; and summarize the "Summer Youth Volunteer" Campaign in 2023.
In the first 9 months of 2023, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province closely followed the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Central Youth Union, based on the work program and resolutions of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels, actively implementing assigned tasks.
In particular, propaganda and education work was implemented with focus, gradually innovating in content and form. Revolutionary action movements took place vigorously with many activities focusing on the grassroots, attracting young people, and being recognized and supported by society.
The work of building the Youth Union - Association - Pioneer organization, the Youth Union participating in Party building and building the political system at the grassroots level continues to be focused on. The work of being in charge of the Pioneer and caring for and educating children and adolescents continues to be of interest. The programs coordinated with other sectors are effectively implemented to promote social resources in caring for the development of children and adolescents.
Some outstanding results include: Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have carried out over 1,100 youth projects; planted nearly 46,000 new trees; lit up over 20 km of roads; donated nearly 4,000 units of blood, provided free medical examinations and medicine to over 2,800 beneficiaries of policy families, the elderly, and people in difficult circumstances...
In particular, the results of the "Summer Youth Volunteer" Campaign in 2023 with some outstanding targets such as: supporting the construction of 6 Red Scarf houses, 11 Charity Houses; supporting digital capacity building for more than 66,000 union members, youth and people; organizing for nearly 1,200 youth to access foreign language capacity building activities; supporting nearly 5,900 children in difficult circumstances...
At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the limitations in implementing the tasks of the Youth Union and youth movement in the first 9 months of the year, especially pointing out the difficulties in implementing the targets of the "Summer Youth Volunteer" Campaign 2023.
The conference agreed on 6 key groups of tasks in the last 3 months of 2023: Continuing to direct the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Party, the Central and provincial Youth Unions; effectively implementing the annual working theme, 3 revolutionary action movements and 3 youth companion programs associated with the unit's reality; building skillful mass mobilization models; focusing on establishing Youth Union and Association organizations in non-state enterprises; organizing activities on holidays and major anniversaries...
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union commended many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" 2023 and festivals organized by the Central Youth Union Council.
