On the morning of March 3, units of the Navy held a ceremony to launch training in 2025.

According to information from the Navy, in 2025, the unit will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 1659 of the Central Military Commission, Resolution No. 1378 of the Navy Party Committee on improving training quality for the period 2023-2030 and the following years; resolutions, orders, directives, plans, and instructions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on training work in 2025.

In particular, it is necessary to innovate and improve the quality of political education work in line with the unit's reality, making each cadre and soldier firmly grasp the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws, deeply perceive the situation and tasks; clearly identify combat training and combat readiness as important and regular tasks of the army and units in peacetime.

Attending and directing at Brigade 147, Naval Region 1 was General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

Also attending were Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem - Commander of the Navy; Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Rear Admiral Vu Van Nam - Commander of Naval Region 1 and Rear Admiral Tran Xuan Van - Political Commissar of Naval Region 1.

Speaking at the training launch ceremony, General Nguyen Tan Cuong emphasized that along with strictly maintaining discipline and combat readiness regime; regularly reviewing, adjusting and promptly supplementing the combat readiness document system at all levels; organizing training according to determined plans, improving combat readiness and combat mobility, not being passive and surprised in any situation.

Besides, it is necessary to proactively develop plans, do a good job of management, direction, and training operations to ensure focus, unity, synchronization, efficiency, and no overlap.

Actively research initiatives, improve models, teaching aids and promote the application of information technology in training. Coordinate with agencies, units and localities to do a good job of organizing drills, completing tasks well and ensuring absolute safety.

On this occasion, units of Submarine Brigade 189, Brigade 162, Brigade 101 (Naval Region 4), Brigade 171 (Naval Region 2), Brigade 131... also simultaneously launched training in 2025.

The Navy determines training according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid", attaches importance to synchronous, in-depth training, focusing on practice; closely combines military training with political education; resolutely fights against subjectivity, simplicity, formalism and achievement disease in training; does not cut back on training content, programs and time.

Focus on breakthrough training in "Basic, mastery, and in-depth training in exploiting and using technical equipment; improving the quality of cadre training"; taking the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty and building a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern" Army as the training goal.

Cadres at all levels must be steadfast and determined; good at command and management; good at expertise and profession; proficient in their duties, able to replace 1 to 2 positions; and be an example for subordinates to follow.

Do a good job of training management and operation, ensuring concentration, unity and synchronization. Ensure adequate and timely logistics and techniques for training tasks. Focus on ensuring synchronization and reliability of ship techniques, weapons and equipment for training tasks, especially long-distance training at sea, exercises, live-fire, and defense diplomacy.

Promote the movement to promote initiatives, improve techniques, and use teaching aids to serve training and combat readiness.
