Talking with the President of the Vietnam Farmers' Association - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development at the forum, delegate Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuc - Director of Bagico Investment Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang) said, I really hope that each Ministry and branch will cooperate with each other to have a monthly online forum so that many farmers can send their questions and wishes to the right place.
The second wish is something I hear a lot about but no one has said, or no one has said, which is about coffee. We sell a lot but do not have a product that leads the world. Specialty coffee is just a branch (under the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association). If we establish a specialty coffee association, it will be an opportunity to take our coffee industry out of the world's major roasters.
According to Ms. Thuc, specialty coffee cannot be made on a large scale, that is our strength. We will gradually form a specialty coffee industry, dominate the world, move towards having a specialty coffee trading floor, increasing the position and value of the Vietnamese coffee industry.
Our agricultural strength in the world market is food processing. Ms. Thuc said: "I am currently consulting on the application of freeze-drying technology. This technology can be applied on a small scale, helping to avoid food waste, which is an advantage for Vietnamese agricultural products, bringing fresh agricultural products to the market longer. I see that agricultural products that people make quickly spoil and rot are very wasteful and costly, if this technology can be applied, it will be extremely useful.

Responding to delegate Thuc, comrade Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association said: We think that organizing more forums is a very good thing. The Farmers' Association is researching to be able to organize more forums between farmers and businesses. Thereby helping to promote the connection between businesses and farmers to achieve higher efficiency.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan thanked delegate Thuc for his useful suggestion regarding coffee branding. The Minister said: I will take note of the issue of specialty coffee branding. I would also like to share that when I go on business trips to Europe, I often bring Vietnamese coffee and tea.
"This means that what we find delicious may not be what they find delicious, because our taste is not the same as others. That is why we have to export raw, and they process it to suit their taste.
Agricultural products are not simply agricultural products, but must be integrated into food, pharmaceuticals... when they have multiple values, their selling price will certainly increase," Minister Le Minh Hoan affirmed.
Regarding the proposal to organize more monthly forums, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development said that, besides direct forums, we also have online forums and forums via social networks such as Facebook and Zalo, which are very useful to help people regularly connect with authorities, experts, scientists, and agricultural workers to discuss work and together resolve difficulties and obstacles in the production and consumption of products.
