A source from the Dien Khanh District Medical Center (Khanh Hoa) said on the afternoon of March 18 that this medical facility had received 5 construction workers injured in a work accident. Although not life-threatening, 2 of them were transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for MRI scans to treat their injuries.
The above mentioned work accident occurred at around 11am the same day, at the gate construction site of Trung 1 village, Dien Dien commune, Dien Khanh district. While the group of workers were constructing this project, the scaffolding suddenly collapsed, injuring 5 workers.
Immediately after receiving the information, Dien Khanh District Medical Center mobilized medical staff in an ambulance to urgently go to the scene to conduct rescue and transport the victim to the center for emergency treatment.
The identity of the victim in the above mentioned work accident has not been detailed by local authorities.
