On May 21, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2024 announced that the area of ​​the DIFF stage this year is about 1,260 m2, 20% larger than in 2023, creating a large performance space with a grand scale. Located on the east bank of the Han River - the riverside campus of Tran Hung Dao Street, with a convenient location and large size, the DIFF 2024 stage is expected to create a strong impression on the audience.

The representative of the DIFF Organizing Committee said that technological innovation and special effects are the most important points in this year's DIFF stage. The LED screen has been upgraded with a large projection size and transparent mesh technology to create special lighting effects, connecting diverse performance spaces with the audience. The LED floor system continues to be applied with improved quality, creating conditions for performances with sharper images and wider viewing angles, increasing the audience's access and experience.

"The construction preparation stage of this year's fireworks stage requires high precision due to its special structure with one part extending into the river and one part placed on the shore. The stage construction team had to prepare carefully to create a hydraulic lowering system, specially manufactured with an automated mechanism, ensuring the most complete stage quality. The dome system to lift and lower the background of the DIFF 2024 stage has also been improved with a lower angle, to optimize the audience's viewing angle. Compared to 2023, the viewing angle from the riverbank has been significantly improved, from 190m to 100m, creating more favorable conditions for the audience to admire the performances on stage," said a representative of the DIFF organizing committee.

Sharing about the special features of the DIFF 2024 stage compared to previous years, the Organizing Committee said that the most outstanding feature of the DIFF 2024 stage is the large lifting table system in the middle of the stage combined with the lighting system to create a unique and multi-dimensional performance space used in the final night. This year's stage lighting system has also been upgraded with modern lifting light technology, which can be raised and lowered flexibly to provide the best views of the entire fireworks area.

In addition, the DIFF 2024 stage also integrates a magnificent water music show, combined with the sparkling Han River behind, creating a special visual effect for the audience.

Currently, the DIFF stands and stage are under construction and installation.

It is known that in 2024, DIFF will officially mark the 12th anniversary of lighting up the sky of Da Nang, gathering the best teams in the world, bringing countless impressive performances to the audience. With the theme "MADE IN UNITY: Global connection, Radiant five continents", DIFF 2024 conveys the message of a world of peace, friendship, humanity and honors values ​​that inspire the community.

The opening night of DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of June 8 at 8:10 p.m. and will be broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television. Host Vietnam will also perform on the opening night, along with the reigning champion of DIFF 2023 - France.

DIFF 2024 takes place from June 8 to July 13 with the theme "Made in unity - Global connection - Radiant five continents".

DIFF 2024 is scheduled to take place from June 8 to July 13 at the fireworks stage on the Han River, with the participation of 8 fireworks teams, including 7 international teams (France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland) and the Vietnamese representative team from Da Nang.

In particular, DIFF 2024 will witness the participation of 3 rookies from Germany, China and the US, promising to bring the audience many surprises through eye-catching performances. The opening night of DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of June 8 with the theme "Made of Unique Culture - Cultural Essence" and the opening competition between the Vietnamese team and the reigning champion of DIFF 2023 - France.

The following nights will see the competition between the following teams: Italy – USA (June 15) (Made of Nature Wisdom); Germany – Poland (June 22) (Made of Love Inspiration); China – Finland (June 29) (Made of Fairy Tales) and the final night on July 13 with the name "Made of Young Generation - Future Pulse". As usual, the artillery teams will have 20-22 minutes to perform.
