Fireworks light up the sky of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate Lunar New Year 2025: Happiness for every family

At exactly 0:00 on January 29, the first day of the Lunar New Year, fireworks were shot brightly in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City to say goodbye to the old year of Giap Thin 2024 and welcome the new year of At Ty 2025. Admiring the brilliant fireworks display, everyone looks forward to a new year with many good things ahead.

From Bach Dang wharf park, people were excitedly recording the spectacular fireworks display shot into the sky of Ho Chi Minh City from the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City).

With 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks, and 10 pyrotechnics, the 15-minute fireworks display left locals and tourists in awe.

Coming from District 7 to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate New Year's Eve with her daughter, Kim Vui (37 years old) was extremely excited to take photos of this special moment with her daughter Tue Tue (9 years old). The mother confided that almost every year she takes her daughter to the center of Ho Chi Minh City on New Year's Eve so that she can see the fireworks up close. "The end of the year and the beginning of the new year, I wish for nothing more than for my father to be healthy and live long with his children and grandchildren. I hope my family will be healthy and peaceful to welcome the new year with much happiness," she shared.

"The fireworks today are so beautiful, there are many brilliant parts that surprised me. I got to see fireworks on New Year's Eve, I hope my whole year will be as brilliant as the fireworks. Now I have to go home and count the days of Tet with my family," Thao Kim (living in Thu Duc City) shared after joining the crowd to watch the fireworks.
