NDO - On the evening of October 25, at Flamingo Dai Lai tourist area, Phuc Yen city held the opening ceremony of Dai Lai Festival 2024 with many unique cultural activities, attracting a large number of people and tourists from inside and outside Vinh Phuc province to participate.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Tien Dung affirmed that tourism is a strength of the locality, the focal point is Dai Lai Lake with an area of nearly 500 hectares of water surface and nearly 1,500 hectares of natural forest at the foot of Tam Dao mountain.
Many tourism projects have become famous destinations such as Flamingo Dai Lai, Dai Lai golf course, Ngoc island resort, Thanh Xuan eco-tourism area, Dai Lai lake 3C area. Phuc Yen city also promotes the value of historical and cultural relics and traditional festivals to serve tourism.

There are about 2,500 accommodation rooms in the city. The number of tourists in 2024 is estimated to reach 1.5 million people, with revenue reaching more than 1,300 billion VND, an increase of 15% compared to 2023.

On the opening night and throughout October 26, many activities took place in the Flamingo Dai Lai complex such as the Lala Town street festival, reenacting the traditional customs of the San Diu ethnic group, stages, outdoor games, street food, Dai Lai tours and many other activities.
Tonight, October 26, in Tam Dao town, Tam Dao District People's Committee organized a series of activities to mark the 120th anniversary of Tam Dao town's establishment with many exciting activities.
Ms. Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice Chairman of Tam Dao District People's Committee said: The highlight of tonight is the music program "Winter Imprint", drone light performance and street food festival.
On this occasion, Tam Dao District People's Committee launched a song composition contest about Tam Dao, launched a Tam Dao Beautiful Photo Contest, and organized an exhibition of documents on the formation, construction, and development of Tam Dao town.
