Attending the ceremony were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; representatives of departments and offices of Military Region 4; representatives of departments, branches, sectors, units of Nghe An province, family, relatives, comrades of martyr Phan Tu Ky and many students in Vinh city.

Martyr Phan Tu Ky was born on April 4, 1947, in Quynh Doi commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province. Rank: Sergeant (Photographer), stationed unit: Political Department, Division 304. He sacrificed his life on August 3, 1972 at the southern front of Military Region 4 (Cua village area, Cam Chinh commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province) when he was only 25 years old.
The legacy left by martyr Phan Tu Ky includes hundreds of letters written to family and friends and many photos taken from the fierce battlefield...

After more than 50 years of preserving the relics of martyr Phan Tu Ky, in 2021, on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the martyr's family donated all the relics to the Military Region 4 Museum.
With the love and dedication of the family, especially the martyr's brother, poet and journalist Phan Duy Huong (pen name Duong Huy) tried to collect and compile the remaining letters, articles, memorabilia, and photos of the martyr into the book "Martyr Phan Tu Ky - Battlefield Letters and Fire Photos", published by Nghe An Publishing House in 2023.

The book has 192 pages, including 4 main parts: Forever Twenty; Battlefield Letters; Pictures with Fire and Homeland - Family - Friends - Comrades. The content of the book's parts is a collection and introduction of letters, photos of martyr Phan Tu Ky and the feelings of relatives, friends and comrades for the martyr.

At the ceremony, journalist Phan Duy Huong (author of the book), Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc (Director of Nghe An Publishing House) and friends, comrades and readers shared memories with martyr Phan Tu Ky and expressed their feelings about the book's content.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee expressed her emotion when participating in the meaningful program. At the same time, she affirmed that the book "Martyr Phan Tu Ky - Battlefield Letters and Fiery Pictures" contains the golden history of the country, is the ideal, dream, ambition of soldiers in general and martyr Phan Tu Ky in particular, is the endless memory of his family and comrades.

In particular, when reading the book, readers will deeply feel the value of traditional education. Just reading a letter or looking at a photo of martyr Phan Tu Ky, surely readers, especially young people, will be moved.
