(Quang Binh Portal) - On the afternoon of March 10, 2025, the Central Steering Committee (SC) to implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT-NDN) nationwide held the 3rd national online meeting chaired by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister, Head of the SC. Attending at the Government headquarters were Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Head of the SC; Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Head of the SC, and representatives of relevant ministries, branches, and agencies.

According to the data reported by localities on the software updated by the end of March 6, 2025, 36 localities have launched the implementation of XNT-NDN in the area, mobilizing 2,690 billion VND. The whole country has supported XNT-NDN for 121,638/223,146 houses, reaching 54.5%, of which 65,564 houses have been inaugurated and 56,074 new houses have been started.

From now until December 31, 2025, according to the registration of localities, the whole country needs to complete 101,508 houses. To date, 22 agencies and units have transferred 2,230/3,464 billion VND according to the resource mobilization plan in the Program to launch support for XNT-NDN nationwide launched by the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on October 5, 2024 (reaching 64.4%). The remaining agencies, units and organizations have planned to complete the transfer of support funds in the second quarter of 2025 so that localities can organize the implementation of XNT-NDN work according to the plan...

Overview of the conference at Quang Binh bridge

In Quang Binh province, as of March 7, 2025, 908 houses for poor and near-poor households have been started, reaching a construction commencement rate of 58.4%, of which 469 are newly built houses, 439 are renovated and repaired; 179 houses have been completed, of which 39 are newly built houses and 140 are renovated and repaired. Thus, the province still has 645 houses that have not been started, of which 358 are newly built houses and 287 are renovated and repaired. It is expected that by August 2025, Quang Binh will complete the construction of the National Assembly for poor and near-poor households in the province in the period of 2024 - 2025.
