On the afternoon of February 6, in Hanoi, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation (NCDT) chaired the 10th meeting to review the activities of the NCDT and Project 06 in 2024, and key directions and tasks in 2025.

In 2024, digital transformation will be implemented drastically and effectively by the Government, ministries, branches and localities. Vietnam ranked 71st out of 193 countries assessed for the national e-Government development ranking, up 15 places compared to 2022. The Government and ministries, branches and localities focus on effectively resolving bottlenecks in investment implementation, cyberspace management, and data development and exploitation. The rate of online records nationwide will reach 45%, 2.5 times higher than in 2023. In the field of digital economy, the proportion of digital economy in 2024 is estimated to reach 18.3% of GDP, with a growth rate 3 times higher than the GDP growth rate, among the fastest in Southeast Asia. Digital transformation is taking place strongly in the field of digital society, 90% of people participating in insurance have electronic health books; 100% of students have digital learning records, the rate of households with fiber optic internet reached 82.4%, exceeding the set target.
Regarding Project 06, as of December 10, 2024, the digitization rate of records and results of administrative procedure settlement in localities reached 67.06%, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2023. The support for cleaning and creating data has been vigorously implemented by the Ministry of Public Security and other ministries and branches. To date, the whole country has authenticated more than 99.6 million demographic information; authenticated, identified and synchronized with the national population database about 24.55/25 million electronic records of students, teachers and education managers; cleaned 35.1/36.2 million driver's license data...
At the meeting, delegates discussed, analyzed, and evaluated the results achieved, the problems that need to be resolved, and proposed solutions for digital transformation work and Project 06 to achieve high results in the coming time.

In his closing speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated and commended the efforts, attempts and achievements in the field of digital transformation and Project 06 in recent times, especially the drastic direction of the members of the National Committee; the participation and close coordination of ministries, branches and localities; the efforts, joint efforts and effective participation of technology enterprises; the consensus, support and active participation of people and enterprises.
With the spirit of 5 clear: "clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear progress, clear products" in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as well as the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Government, the Prime Minister emphasized 4 issues that need to be implemented in the coming time, which are: Digital transformation must be closely linked with the revolution in administrative reform to improve the quality of the staff; must be comprehensive, comprehensive in all sectors and levels, in line with the development trend of the world and meet the requirements of the people; science and technology, innovation are objective requirements, strategic choices, top priorities to bring the country to develop rapidly and sustainably in the era of a prosperous, civilized country, with prosperous and happy people; Science and technology must take people and businesses as the center and subject to promote the country's development.
To complete the four goals, the Prime Minister outlined the tasks and requested ministries, branches and localities to be more drastic and urgent in implementing national digital transformation and Project 06; organize and implement tasks effectively, strive for the national growth rate in 2025 to reach over 8%, creating momentum, force, position and confidence for double-digit growth in the period 2026 - 2030.
