Quang Ninh is in the top 3 localities with tourism revenue of thousands of billions during Tet

According to statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, during the Lunar New Year 2025, there will be 8 provinces and cities nationwide with revenue of more than 1,000 billion VND. Of which, Quang Ninh province ranked 3rd, after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world make a pilgrimage to the land of Buddha, offering incense and praying for peace on the opening day of Yen Tu festival.

Specifically, Quang Ninh's tourism revenue during the recent Tet holiday reached more than VND2,600 billion, an increase of 71% compared to the Giap Thin Tet holiday in 2024. The total number of visitors was nearly 970,000, an increase of 21% over the same period.

Quang Ninh tourism businesses have implemented activities to best serve tourists visiting and relaxing; as well as ensuring conditions for facilities and human resources to serve tourists, decorating the holiday at accommodation establishments and tourist attractions, creating highlights to attract visitors; organizing entertainment, cultural and culinary activities imbued with national identity, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for tourists.

During the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, the country's tourism industry is expected to welcome 12.5 million domestic visitors, an increase of about 19% over the same period last year. Foreign visitors will also increase by about 30% thanks to the effect of visa policies, restructuring of the tourist market and efforts of businesses and localities.
