Accordingly, after reviewing Report 522 dated June 28 of the Quang Nam Market Management Department on the results of the inspection of 6 business stalls in the night market area of Minh An ward (Hoi An), the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Hoi An City to be responsible for strictly implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Clause 2 of Official Dispatch 4147 dated June 7.
In Clause 2 of Official Dispatch 4147 mentioned above, the Provincial People's Committee directed agencies, units and localities to strengthen propaganda work, guide organizations and individuals doing business in the area in general and at the night market in particular to strictly comply with relevant legal regulations in production and business activities, implement civilized trade; strengthen inspection and closely monitor business activities of business establishments, promptly detect and strictly handle acts of trading, storing prohibited goods, smuggled goods, trading in counterfeit goods, goods infringing intellectual property rights...
The Provincial People's Committee requests the Market Management Department (Standing Agency of Steering Committee 389 of Quang Nam Province) and relevant agencies, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to closely coordinate with localities to find appropriate solutions to effectively implement the task of combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights... in the province.
