Quang Nam launched a response to the National Press Award on Party building

The Provincial Party Committee requested agencies, units and localities to pay attention and create conditions for collectives and individuals in the area to create press works on Party building, political system building, participate in press awards, national competitions and the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024.

Introduce good models and creative ways of Party building and political system building to provide groups and individuals in the area to research and create works to participate in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

The 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024 is organized by the Central Organizing Committee, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Journalists Association.

The award is for Vietnamese authors at home and abroad whose journalistic works are published and broadcast in print, electronic, radio and television, in the following genres: reflections, interviews, notes, comments, treatises, reports, memoirs, investigations, radio and television programs, documentaries, multimedia journalistic products, press photos, etc.

According to plan No. 168 dated April 4, 2024 of the Central Organizing Committee on organizing the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024, works considered for award are those that ensure authenticity, accuracy, objectivity, and have the correct political ideology.

The content of the work must raise new issues in Party building work that are of interest to public opinion; have the nature of discovery, summary or guidance, be highly persuasive and socially effective, actively serving Party building work; have attractive and creative methods of expression; have a strong social impact and spillover effect...

The prize structure includes 1 special prize (worth 300 million VND), 6 A prizes (100 million VND/prize), 12 B prizes (75 million VND/prize), 18 C prizes (50 million VND/prize) and 30 consolation prizes (30 million VND/prize). There are also a number of other prizes.
