In recent times, administrative reform and improvement of the operation of the state administrative apparatus have always been of interest to the provincial authorities at all levels. The one-stop mechanism has been effectively implemented; there is openness and transparency in handling administrative procedures.
Quang Nam hotline 1022 promptly responded to feedback and recommendations on the status of receiving and handling administrative procedures. The rate of handling records before and on time at the Public Administration Service Center in the first 6 months of 2024 accounted for nearly 99%. In the tax sector alone, the total number of administrative procedures in the sector is currently 235, including 146 full online public services and 88 partial online public services; 120 administrative procedures on the national public service portal.
The rate of enterprises registering for online tax declaration reached over 99%; registration for electronic tax payment reached over 96%, with the amount of electronic tax payment of over 314 billion VND in the first 7 months of 2024...
At the conference, representatives of businesses in the province discussed and proposed many contents on supporting businesses in handling administrative procedures, such as continuing to have policies to extend, exempt and reduce taxes, especially land rent.
For tax administrative procedures, it is recommended to return administrative procedure results via email, instead of sending paper documents, to reduce waiting time for businesses; invest in information infrastructure; support in implementing administrative procedures for granting environmental licenses; some problems in implementing electronic invoices, land prices, etc.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung highly appreciated the sharing, understanding and connection between enterprises and provincial agencies. At the same time, he encouraged enterprises to continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of Quang Nam.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 11 collectives and 2 individuals, and Director of the Tax Department Nguyen Van Tiep awarded Certificates of Merit to 85 collectives and 84 individuals with outstanding achievements in complying with tax policies and laws in 2023.
