Thoroughly implement newly issued legal documents into practice in the fight against environmental crimes.

Conference Overview.

Colonel Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Environmental Police Department chaired the Conference; the Conference was attended by leaders of the Departments, Environmental Inspection Centers and all officers and soldiers of the Environmental Police Department working in Hanoi.

The conference aims to help officers and soldiers grasp the contents of newly issued legal documents and apply legal provisions to practical work.

At the Conference, delegates were informed and discussed by Colonel Tran Quoc Toan, Head of the Department of Legislation and Administrative and Judicial Reform, Ministry of Public Security and Nguyen Thi Phuong, Department of Water Resources Management, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment about the basic contents of the Laws passed by the 15th National Assembly in 2023, focusing on the following Laws: Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level No. 30/2023/QH15; Law on Identification No. 26/2023/QH15; Law on Water Resources No. 28/2023/QH15.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department, said that at the 5th and 6th Sessions, the 15th National Assembly passed 9 Laws and 11 Resolutions, including 5 important Laws closely related to life. He requested that units, officers and soldiers of the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department regularly study and exchange to grasp the provisions of relevant laws; organize the proper implementation of legal provisions in conjunction with strengthening coordination with functional forces inside and outside the industry to ensure good performance of tasks according to the provisions of law. Conducting reviews, proposing amendments and supplements to legal documents on crime prevention and violations of laws on environment, resources and food safety, contributing to perfecting the legal system, creating a complete and comprehensive legal basis, improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and combat and violations of laws on environment, resources and food safety.
