Department of Justice deploys key tasks in 2024

On the afternoon of January 9, the Department of Justice held a conference to review judicial work in 2023 and deploy key tasks in 2024.

Attending the conference were comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2023, the Department of Justice has synchronously and effectively implemented assigned tasks.

The work of drafting and appraising legal documents (VBQPPL) is focused on, ensuring quality. The Department has contributed opinions to 160 draft documents at the request of the Central agencies, the Provincial People's Committee and the proposals of departments and branches; appraised 8 proposals for drafting resolutions, 112 draft legal documents; chaired the drafting of 3 draft legal documents to amend, supplement or issue new resolutions of the People's Council, Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee.

The management of administrative violations and monitoring of law enforcement were strictly implemented. The dissemination and education of law were focused on and achieved substantial results. During the year, the 4th Provincial Excellent Mediator Competition was successfully organized; thereby, the team participating in the Northern Regional Competition and the National Finals were selected to win Third Prize.

State management of judicial support and legal aid has been strengthened. In particular, notarization, authentication, civil status, and property auction activities continue to be implemented effectively, actively supporting agencies conducting proceedings and avoiding loss of state assets.

In addition, the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; inspection, examination and prevention of corruption are carried out in accordance with regulations. The application of information technology and digital transformation in handling administrative procedures related to the judiciary is promoted.

In 2024, the Department of Justice sets out 7 key tasks to comprehensively and effectively implement all aspects of work such as: Continuing to improve the quality of drafting and appraising legal documents, managing administrative violations, monitoring law enforcement, State management of judicial support and legal aid; strengthening the dissemination and education of law, the Law on Mediation at the grassroots level; promoting administrative reform, application of information technology, digital transformation...

Department of Justice deploys key tasks in 2024 — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung awarded the "Emulation Flag of the Judicial Sector" to the leaders of the Department of Justice.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Justice to the collective leadership and staff of the Department of Justice; awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to 2 collectives, Certificates of Merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 2 individuals of the provincial Justice sector for their outstanding achievements in implementing emulation movements in 2023.

Many collectives and individuals in the province's Justice sector were also commended by the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Justice for their outstanding achievements in performing their tasks in 2023.
