Nearly 300 units of blood were donated in the first Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2024 of Bac Giang Provincial Police.

Attending the program were comrades: Colonel Tran The Cuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Steering Committee for Blood Donation of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Duy Bao, Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Society of Bac Giang province; more than 200 officers, soldiers, and youth union members who volunteered to participate in the first blood donation in 2024 from units under the Provincial Police.

In recent times, the Provincial Police Youth Union as well as its affiliated Youth Unions have organized many voluntary blood donation activities, attracting a large number of officers, soldiers, union members and young people of the People's Police force to participate. Thereby, affirming the pioneering role of the youth, demonstrating the sharing and compassion of officers, soldiers, union members and young people of the People's Police force, sharing the responsibility and affection of each officer and soldier of the People's Police force towards the country and the community, contributing to further beautifying the image of the People's Police soldier "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people".

Speaking at the Blood Donation Festival, Colonel Tran The Cuong affirmed that “donating blood to save lives” is a noble act, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Police Youth Union continue to be the pioneer force, making more important contributions to developing the voluntary blood donation movement, motivating and encouraging all officers and soldiers to participate in donating blood to save lives, making voluntary blood donation activities more practical, effective and sustainable.

In order to recognize the achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement, the Provincial Police's Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee has proposed that the Emulation and Reward Councils at all levels consider rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

During the Voluntary Blood Donation Day, in addition to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, there were also youth union members and people participating in blood donation.

At the end of the festival, more than 200 officers, soldiers, union members, youth of the Provincial Police, and volunteers donated nearly 300 units of blood, contributing to spreading the image of beautiful Bac Giang police soldiers in the hearts of the people.
