Attending, directing and encouraging the forces participating in the live-fire exercise were Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 1; Major General La Cong Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 1; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 1 Command; representatives of a number of agencies of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; representatives of the Air Defense - Air Force Service; representatives of the Armored Corps and commanders of agencies and units of the Military Region 1 Armed Forces.

Before entering the live-fire phase, Division 3 coordinated closely with military units and arms under the Ministry and the Military Region; successfully completed the stages of the exercise, including: Changing to combat readiness status; marching into the combat assembly area; organizing combat preparations; practicing combat and firing live ammunition.
During the live-fire exercise with the theme: "Infantry Regiment attacks airborne enemy", the participating forces mastered the content, combat intentions, and tactical principles; handled situations well, coordinated closely, and ensured absolute safety for people and weapons.

Through the exercise, it contributes to improving the advisory capacity of agencies at all levels; technical and tactical actions and the level of using vehicles, weapons and equipment of the troops in combat practice and live ammunition firing. The results of the exercise are the basis for Military Region 1 to assess the actual level and capacity of leadership and command of cadres at all levels; the ability to coordinate and coordinate combat between infantry units with military units, services and local armed forces; thereby, the Military Region continues to direct innovation in training and exercise organization methods in the following years, meeting the requirements of training tasks and increasingly high combat readiness in the new situation.
