Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha; members of the Ministry's Committee for the Advancement of Women and units within the Ministry, along with a large number of female civil servants and public employees.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha emphasized: Vietnamese women of all times - Always possess the noble qualities that Uncle Ho once bestowed upon them: "Heroic - Indomitable - Loyal - Responsible". In any position, women can promote their inherent role, strength and ingenuity.

In the process of national integration, it is impossible not to mention the important role and contribution of Vietnamese women. In foreign affairs and international cooperation, the role of women is increasingly developing, gaining international support in many aspects, enhancing prestige at home and abroad. The work of supporting women in international integration is also of interest and importance.
In the context of increasingly deep international integration today, besides the great advantages and opportunities for the country, people and women, many issues such as gender violence, human trafficking, unsafe migration, international marriage have been and are affecting women more, women still face many difficulties in international integration.
“In any field, the position of women in the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promotes the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, deserving to be dynamic women, good at both public and domestic work in the integration period. Thus, Vietnamese women can contribute more proactively and effectively and at the same time benefit appropriately from the international integration process” – Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha emphasized.

Next, the delegates listened to and discussed the topic "Women participating in foreign affairs in the new situation" presented by Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, former Ambassador of Vietnam to Italy, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations Organizations in Rome. According to Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, the role of women in the field of foreign affairs is increasingly affirmed and has many outstanding contributions. Women in general and Vietnamese women in particular have been actively participating and holding important positions in the political system as well as in foreign affairs agencies and organizations, especially participating very well and effectively in United Nations peacekeeping activities; contributing to enhancing mutual understanding, promoting friendly relations and cooperation between countries in the world.
