Promoting the role of "keeping the fire in the home", through many movements and practical activities, Ha Tinh Women's Union at all levels has helped members strive to build happy families in modern life.

At the seminar “Women with the Code of Civilized Conduct in the Family and Community” organized by the Nghi Xuan District Women’s Union on the occasion of the Vietnamese Women’s Day October 20, many members had the opportunity to share their experiences in cultural behavior and building family happiness. Among them, the sharing of Ms. Tran Thi Phi (65 years old, residential group 1, Xuan An town) on cultural behavior and building a happy family made many people appreciate.
Mrs. Phi and her husband, Mr. Nguyen Son Ha (born in 1959, 4/4 disabled veteran) have 3 daughters. All 3 have graduated from university, have stable jobs in state agencies and enterprises, are married and live happily. Up to now, the couple has always been in harmony, together raising their children to adulthood, and being filial to their parents.

Mr. Nguyen Son Ha expressed: “From my own life, I realize that the role of women in the family is extremely important. With loyalty, love, responsibility, skillful care for husband and children, and filial piety to parents, women are the warmth for a happy family. The actions of a wife such as sharing with her husband when he is in trouble, wholeheartedly caring for her mother-in-law when she is sick make me always remember, be grateful and love my woman more”.
The seminar "Women with the Code of Civilized Conduct in the Family and Community" organized by the Nghi Xuan District Women's Union is one of many activities of the provincial women's unions at all levels in recent times. Thereby, aiming to implement the policies of the Party and State on building family culture in the new period such as: Resolutions of women's congresses at all levels and Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress have proposed the content "Cultivating Vietnamese family values" (with 4 values: safety, responsibility, prosperity, equality); implementing criteria related to family and gender equality in the national target program on building new rural areas in the period of 2021-2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Ha - President of Ha Tinh Women's Union said: "We identify "Cultivating Vietnamese family values" as an important content and task in the work of the union and the women's movement. At the same time, it is the basis for the Women's Union at all levels to promote the role of accompanying and supporting female members to build prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families in modern society".

In recent years, the Provincial Women's Union has actively directed Women's Unions at all levels to focus on implementing the tasks of propaganda, mobilization, and support for women to develop comprehensively and build happy families. The tasks are integrated with the implementation of the contents of the campaign to build "5 no, 3 clean" families associated with building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, supporting women to start businesses, programs, projects, and have achieved many results.
Actively coordinate with units and localities to participate in preventing social evils, implementing social security work through models and clubs such as: Domestic violence prevention, When mother is not home club, Godmother... Thereby, actively contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the homeland, affirming the role and position of women. Helping women fulfill their duties as wives and mothers; being a solid spiritual support, connecting members to take care of building a happy family.
The Women's Union of Tan Tho village (Ky Tho commune, Ky Anh district) launched the "5 haves - Model new rural areas" and "Domestic violence prevention" clubs on the occasion of celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 .
In order to continue promoting the role of women in building family culture and nurturing Vietnamese family values, the Provincial Women's Union has recently developed a research topic "Solutions to enhance gender roles in family building in the integration period in Ha Tinh". To implement the topic, the Provincial Women's Union organized a workshop with the content "Identifying and evaluating gender roles in family building today in Ha Tinh".
The workshop received many presentations from researchers and authors with expertise. With scientific arguments and evidence, the workshop contributed to clarifying the role of women as well as the challenges of gender in building culture and family happiness in the modern context. At the same time, it provided orientations, suggestions, and shared experiences in research and solutions to enhance the role of gender in family building as well as proposals to continue advising on policies and guidelines on family building in Ha Tinh.
The Provincial Women's Union organized a workshop on "Identifying and evaluating gender roles in family building today" in September 2023.
With many meaningful programs and activities, the Women's Union at all levels in Ha Tinh is actively promoting its role in building family values, helping members build happy families; aiming to successfully implement many policies of the Party and State, as well as the development goals of the homeland.
