Pho Ben Doi organizes special classical piano music nights

This is a classical music performance program for the community, free of charge, organized regularly throughout the year by Pho Ben Doi Creative and Arts Center as an effort to contribute to musical activities in Da Lat - UNESCO Creative City of Music.

Young artist Nguyen Viet Minh Khang has won many major domestic and international awards.

Both artists performing tonight are 18 years old, currently students in the 9-year Intermediate class of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music; in which, artist Nguyen Viet Minh Khang started playing the piano at the age of 5, and at the age of 10, he entered the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

Minh Khang is currently a member of the Young Piano Talent Team of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, having won many national and international awards in recent years.

Young artist Bui Le Giang performs

Artist Bui La Giang, whose mother is from Da Lat, started playing the piano at the age of 6 and has also won many national and international awards in recent years.

Previously, Pho Ben Doi Creative and Art Center also organized a classical piano performance program Piano Dialogue - Da Lat City of Music (Dalat City of Music - Piano Recilal) with performances by students studying at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music such as: Dao Duy Chan, Nguyen Thanh Hoa, Ngo Hoang Le Huy, Lam Bao Thi, Bui Duong Thanh, Tran Hai Dang, Nguyen Minh Hieu, Le Cong Lap...

Most of these young artists, although still in school, have won major national and international awards.

Young artists aged 12 - 27 perform with dedication

The program took place over two nights, March 15 and 16, with nearly 40 classic pieces of music by world musical geniuses such as Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Joseph Haydn, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, and Gyorgy Ligeti.

In addition, young artists also performed works by contemporary Vietnamese composer Nguyen Huu Tuan.

Under the skillful playing of young artists and their dedicated performance spirit, the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin with the familiar melodies of sonatas, etudes, and melodious waltzes becomes even more soaring and wonderful.
