Launching the 21st Lam Dong Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest

The groups of authors who won high prizes in the 20th Lam Dong Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest - 2024 received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

The contest is for teenagers and children in the province from 6 to 18 years old (born from 2007 to 2019) with creative solutions in 5 areas: Learning tools; Computer software; Environmentally friendly products; Household appliances and children's toys; Technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy.

Competition solutions must be novel and creative; the explanatory report must clearly state the method of implementing the idea, manufacturing materials, usage and operation, practical applicability, value and socio-economic efficiency brought about by the solution.

Contest solutions must have models and accompanying products that demonstrate the author's creative ideas and meet technical and aesthetic requirements.

The contest will be judged at two levels: grassroots level (district, city) and provincial level. Districts and cities will mobilize youth and children to participate in the contest; receive applications, review and award prizes; select solutions to submit to the provincial contest before June 10. The provincial contest will accept applications from now until June 15; organize appraisal, award consideration and select excellent solutions to participate in the national contest before July 31; summarize and award prizes in October 2025.

The Organizing Committee of the contest plans to award 50 prizes to authors with outstanding solutions. The prize structure includes: 5 first prizes (12 million VND/prize); 10 second prizes (8 million VND/prize); 15 third prizes (6 million VND/prize); 20 consolation prizes (4 million VND/prize). The total prize is about 310 million VND.
