The first charter flight from Iran to Hanoi was organized by Asia Destination Management Corporation (ASIA DMC) in collaboration with its sister companies HG Aviation, Meraj Airlines and partners from Iran.
The event contributes to promoting comprehensive cooperation, especially in the field of tourism between Vietnam and Iran.
According to ASIA DMC General Director Subhash Chandar, the guests chose Vietnam as their holiday destination for Nowruz - Iran's traditional New Year. The 9-day itinerary was specially designed to introduce visitors to Vietnam's rich heritage through attractive historical and cultural sites, such as Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh), Ba Na Hills (Da Nang), Hoi An Ancient Town (Quang Nam); Cu Chi Tunnels, Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Saigon Central Post Office of Ho Chi Minh City...
In particular, these guests spent 2.5 days in Hanoi to visit and experience an interesting itinerary including: Visiting the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem Lake; taking a cyclo to visit Hanoi's Old Quarter with craft streets such as: Hang Gai, Hang Gao, Hang Giay, Hang Bac...
In recent years, Vietnam has increasingly affirmed its attractiveness in the tourism sector and is striving to become a leading attractive destination in the region. Recently, Vietnam has successfully surpassed many Asian countries to enter the Top 20 countries most loved by global tourists with a score of 89.11/100.
According to data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the number of international visitors to Vietnam in the first quarter of 2025 reached more than 4.6 million, an increase of 72% over the same period in 2024. Hanoi alone welcomed about 1.85 million international visitors, an increase of 17.4% over the same period in 2024. This is a new record for the Vietnamese tourism industry. In particular, Hanoi is a favorite destination for many large-scale international delegations when coming to Vietnam.
“Organizing charter flights like this is expected to set a new standard for luxury travel experiences in Vietnam, while promoting the S-shaped country as a leading attractive destination for tourists from around the world,” said Mr. Subhash Chandar.
