On March 18, the Traffic Police Department, Da Nang City Police said: The unit has worked with the owner of the supercar fleet and all the drivers who blatantly ran the red light on Nguyen Van Linh Street. The aforementioned supercar fleet was identified as being owned and managed by Mr. HKK and his wife, the owner of Mailisa Beauty Salon, specializing in beauty care (headquartered on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City).
According to Da Nang Traffic Police, on March 16, this convoy of supercars departed from Da Nang International Airport and traveled along Nguyen Van Linh Street. When they reached the intersection with Phan Chau Trinh Street, the green light turned red. Although other vehicles slowed down and stopped, this convoy of supercars continued to run the red light.
Residents also provided 8 vehicles including 7 cars and 1 three-wheeled motorbike with signs of violations. However, upon verification, 3 more vehicles were discovered to be in violation. Thus, a total of 11 vehicles violated the Road Traffic Law.
During the meeting, Mr. K. admitted the violations of the drivers when they ran the red light and apologized to the people of Da Nang City for having to witness the bad actions. At the same time, Mr. K. also pledged not to let similar incidents happen again.
The Traffic Police Department said it had issued administrative fines for 11 cases of car and motorbike violations, with a total fine of 167 million VND; and temporarily detained 11 driving licenses of the drivers.
