According to the Organizing Committee, the program "Vu Lan - Filial Piety and Nation 2024" welcomes and looks forward to major events of the country such as: The 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024; 70 years of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); 77 years of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024); 79 years of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024); 70 years of Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024); welcoming the Vu Lan Festival of Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2024 and especially looking forward to welcoming and looking forward to the United Nations Vesak Festival. In addition, the delegation will also give charity gifts to local families with meritorious services, donate canteens to preschool children in remote and disadvantaged areas of Dien Bien province, and give gifts and savings books to some Dien Bien veterans... from funds mobilized from businesses and philanthropists nationwide.
