On the morning of May 25, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a launching ceremony for the month of action for children and the children's forum in 2023.

Leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs presented gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances.

Thai Binh province currently has 439,000 children, including over 5,400 children in special circumstances, nearly 15,000 children at risk of falling into special circumstances and children in other circumstances. This year's Action Month for Children has the theme: "Joining hands to reduce harm to children" taking place from June 1 to June 30, 2023. The organization of the launching ceremony for the Action Month for Children and the Children's Forum aims to raise awareness and responsibility of families, schools, communities and the whole society for the mass movement to protect, care for and educate children. At the same time, it promotes further attention from Party committees, authorities, families and society on the meaning and importance of protecting, caring for and educating children in general and preventing violence, abuse and injury to children in particular, creating a safe and healthy living environment for children.

Representatives of the Provincial Youth Union leaders interacted, discussed and answered children's questions.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, there was a children's forum with the theme: "Children participate in building a safe, friendly and healthy living environment for children". This was an opportunity for children to share their thoughts, aspirations and express their opinions on issues that they are interested in. The invited guests were representatives of the leaders of agencies and units who interacted, had dialogues and answered the children's questions.

The representative of the Provincial Procuracy presented a symbol of support to the Provincial Children's Support Fund.

On this occasion, agencies, units and enterprises donated over 500 million VND to the Provincial Children's Support Fund. 80 gifts worth over 100 million VND were given to children in especially difficult circumstances in the province.
