Mr. Tran Phong, Secretary of Dong Hoi City Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the afternoon of December 10, the Executive Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to carry out personnel work.

At the conference, Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang announced the Official Dispatch of the Party Central Committee Office informing the opinion of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on agreeing to introduce Mr. Tran Phong, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Hoi City to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026.

Next, Mr. Tran Vu Khiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, presented the Proposal of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the election of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020-2025.

The conference discussed and agreed with the Personnel Introduction Report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to elect the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term for Mr. Tran Phong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Hoi City.

As a result, 100% of the votes unanimously elected Mr. Tran Phong to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Also at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Hai Chau presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Tran Phong on being elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020-2025.

Mr. Tran Phong (50 years old, from Quang Phuong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province); advanced political theory degree and master's degree in economics.

Before taking up the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Phong held many positions such as: Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee. In October 2020, Mr. Tran Phong was elected as a member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Hoi City Party Committee.
