During the discussion on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, at Luong The Vinh Secondary School (Dak R'lap District), Nguyen Tran Bao Thuc (student of class 8A5) received a gift with a handwritten letter from Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son after participating in the "Children's National Assembly" mock session last September.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son's gift includes 3 books on Vietnamese and world history, along with a notebook, inside of which is a handwritten letter from the Minister himself.
The content of the letter said that the Minister was very impressed with Bao Thuc's answer in the mock National Assembly session for children.
"You have had very correct thoughts and feelings about the decisive role of learners themselves in their own problems. The search for happiness and success, first of all, always lies within oneself," the Minister wrote.
At the end of the letter, Mr. Kim Son sent words of encouragement to Bao Thuc to continue nurturing his dream and constantly strive to study.
At the same time, the head of the education sector also left his phone number in the letter with the message: "You can call and talk to me anytime, about any problem, both now and in the future."

After reading the letter, Bao Thuc was overwhelmed with emotion because he was so happy and did not forget to thank Minister Nguyen Kim Son.
In September 2024, Bao Thuc was one of three students representing Dak Nong province to go to Hanoi to attend the "Children's Parliament" mock session.
At this hypothetical meeting, Minister Nguyen Kim Son asked the question "When preventing school violence, whose role is the most important?".

At this time, Bao Thuc answered that the most important role in preventing and combating school violence lies with each student himself. Because when those involved do not dare to speak up, no one will know and the problem of school violence will spread more widely.
Bao Thuc explained that those who are victims of school violence and those who witness violence must speak up with the school, teachers and parents to protect the victims and themselves, and not choose to remain silent.
Bao Thuc's answer made the whole hall applaud and praise.
Sharing with VietNamNet, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Nong, said that he was very happy when he personally brought the letter from the Minister to Bao Thuc from Hanoi to Dak Nong.
According to Mr. Hai, the Minister was very impressed with Bao Thuc's profound and practical speech during the meeting.
