NTO - Completed preparations for the Grape Festival

On June 9, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the organization of the ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate inscribing "Cham pottery art on the List of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection" and the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival in 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the festival). Attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities and units.

Up to now, 12 provincial-level activities and events and 5 activities and events organized in districts and cities have basically completed the conditions and content of organization. The Reception - Logistics Subcommittee has completed the issuance of 1,200 invitations; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has printed 1,200 delegate cards, 250 Organizing Committee cards, 450 service cards, 150 reporter cards and 120 priority boards attached to vehicles transporting delegates. The Department of Transport and the Provincial Police have completed the traffic diversion plan as well as ensuring security and order on the opening night of the festival as well as throughout the festival. Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts and responsibilities of departments, branches and localities, completing all tasks on schedule. For the series of events to take place successfully, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units, localities and sub-committees to coordinate and review all stages. In particular, the Provincial People's Committee Office continues to confirm delegates attending the event, prepare means of transportation and serve delegates at all levels; the Department of Health urgently organizes inspection teams to monitor food safety at restaurants, hotels and food service establishments serving the festival; the Provincial Police complete plans to ensure security and order... The whole province promotes communication, information and general environmental sanitation.
