Focused on directing the implementation of the plan to implement the monitoring program, the key work program in 2025; supervising the implementation of socio-economic tasks in the first quarter; urging the implementation of tasks and socio-economic development targets in 2025 in localities. In the second quarter, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council focused on implementing a number of key tasks: Organizing thematic supervision of the Provincial People's Council on "The implementation of policies and laws on housing and social housing development in the province in the period of 2021-2024". Directing the preparation and urgent organization of People's Council meetings in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and amended laws, responding to the policy of merging communes, organizing local governments at 2 levels in a timely manner to ensure adequate legal basis to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security. Directing supervision and urging the acceleration of the implementation of key tasks and solutions on socio-economic development and the State budget estimate for the first 6 months of 2025. Directing the preparation of content and agenda for the regular mid-year session of 2025 and thematic sessions and sessions to resolve unexpected issues. Organize regular meetings, explanation and questioning sessions of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee in accordance with legal regulations. Organize meetings with voters; receive citizens, handle and urge the resolution of voters' petitions, complaints, denunciations and reflections of citizens in accordance with legal regulations.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council Committees to continue to promote their sense of responsibility in implementing the programs and plans set out in the second quarter. In particular, it is important to organize well the work of supervision, contact with voters; receive citizens, handle and urge the settlement of voters' petitions, complaints, denunciations and reflections of citizens according to the law. Urgently organize thematic meetings to discuss and consider the implementation of the organization and apparatus arrangement and the implementation of projects in the province. Regarding the preparation for the organization and apparatus arrangement at the commune level, the Provincial People's Council Committees need to strengthen coordination and supervision of departments and branches in the process of collecting people's opinions, completing legal documents to submit to the National Assembly according to requirements; at the same time, review legal regulations to organize the People's Councils of communes after the arrangement in accordance with regulations. Urgently compile statistics on finances, assets, documents, personnel, delegates... to prepare for the merger of the Provincial People's Council. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested the Provincial People's Council Committees to review and strictly ensure legal regulations to prepare for the implementation of the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project, especially issues related to compensation and site clearance. Strengthen supervision and urge the implementation of key tasks and solutions for socio-economic development. Review the progress of capital disbursement of projects in the province, especially projects under the 3 national target programs, synthesize and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for timely direction.
