
Class K73 is the first course of the Provincial School of Culture and Arts. The school was assigned by the Department of Culture to enroll the first intermediate art classes of the school to supplement the art troupes in the province, including majors: Cheo actors; Dancers; Drama actors; Music. This generation has produced many famous people, some of whom have become doctors, musicians, meritorious artists, famous actors such as: Bach Van, Dinh Dac, Minh Hue, Tran Thach, Xuan Hoan...

Meritorious Artist Bach Van's full name is Le Thi Bach Van, a singer of the Vietnamese Ca Tru genre . She is the one who made great contributions in restoring the art of Ca Tru, helping this art form to be honored by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
As a child, Meritorious Artist Bach Van followed her brother, the artist, artist, and scholar Le Van Quan (pen name Due Anh), to Hanoi to study. During a visit to her hometown, she happened to participate in a vocal music entrance exam and was admitted directly to the Nghe Tinh School of Culture and Arts. After graduating, she returned to Hanoi to continue studying at the Vocal Music Department at the National School of Music; later she studied at the University of Culture.
At the new school, Bach Van gradually fell in love with Ca Tru. After graduating in 1981, she began to study Ca Tru. After many trips, she found the artist Quach Thi Ho and asked to be his student. In 1986, she worked at the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. In 1991, Bach Van convinced the representative of the Ministry of Culture and Information to establish the Hanoi Ca Tru Club. She contributed to building the Ca Tru Club for 13 out of 19 provinces and cities with a tradition of this art form. Bach Van convinced Ms. Pho Thi Kim Duc to return to teach musical instruments and singing, then established the Kim Duc Ca Tru group, along with artists Nguyen Phu De, Nguyen Thi Truc, etc.
In 2000, with the success of the Hanoi Ca Tru Festival, the Department of Performing Arts invited Bach Van to provide basic knowledge so that the Ford Foundation could sponsor Vietnam with 1,500 USD to train young people. Bach Van contributed greatly to Ca Tru being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
Achievements of Meritorious Artist Bach Van:
· 1988: Silver Medal for folk singing.
· 1992: First Prize for best singing voice in Ca Tru.
· 1993: Silver Medal for National Professional Solo.
· 1995: Outstanding Talent Artist Award.
In 2012, Bach Van was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist. She retired in 2013.
. 2020: Bach Van won the B Prize in the research book category with the work " Dao Nuong and the art of singing Ca Tru " (no A Prize) - Award of the Vietnam Musicians Association.
Attending the 50th anniversary of the school opening, Meritorious Artist Bach Van said that she was very happy to reunite with her classmates of K73, to express her gratitude to the teachers and the school who have given wings to artistic talents to fly far. Although she is old, she is still devoted to the art of Ca Tru and always wants to spread this love to the community.
