The Nissan Patrol SUV model is expected to cost around VND4 billion in Vietnam, cheaper than its rival Toyota Land Cruiser. It is likely that the car will be imported to Vietnam in the second quarter of 2025 as a Japanese import.
The 7th generation Nissan Patrol 2025 had its global debut in September 2024 in the Middle East. Recently, consultants at some Nissan dealerships have invited customers to deposit for this large SUV. Initial information shows that the Toyota Land Cruiser's competitor will be imported into the country around the second quarter of 2025 as a complete import from Japan. The expected price of the Nissan Patrol is around 4 billion VND, more attractive than the starting price of 4.286 billion VND of its competitor, the Toyota Land Cruiser.
Although some sales consultants at authorized dealers are inviting customers to deposit for the all-new Nissan Patrol SUV, the authorized distributor of the Nissan brand in the Vietnamese automobile market has not yet confirmed this information.
Ranked in the same "tray" as the Land Cruiser, the Nissan Patrol's size parameters are significantly larger with length x width x height measurements of 5,350 x 2,030 x 1,945 (mm), and a wheelbase of 3,075 mm. The car has a strong, muscular appearance with angular design lines. Supporting the large, muscular body is a set of wheels up to 22 inches in size.
The front of the Nissan Patrol stands out with the brand's signature V-motion grille, but has been renewed. The LED headlights with adaptive technology are placed vertically with 2 C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The rear lights are also designed vertically with C-shaped LED strips synchronized with the front lighting system.
The large size creates the premise to provide Patrol 2025 with a spacious interior with the widest 2nd and 3rd row seats in the segment, according to the company's announcement. The luggage compartment volume is also increased by 30% compared to the previous generation.
All seats on the 2025 Nissan Patrol are upholstered in quilted leather with patterns inspired by Japanese woodworking techniques. The driver's seat is 8-way power adjustable, heated and massaged.
Along with that is a series of modern and expensive amenities such as: digital dashboard and central touch screen placed on the same 28.6-inch glass surface, new Nissan Connect 2.0 operating system application, integrating Google Maps, Google Assistant or Play Store applications, appearing for the first time in the Middle East; 7-inch HUD; 2 12.3-inch screens for the rear seats; 12-speaker Klipsch sound; 64-color interior decorative lighting system; Panorama sunroof...
The V8 engine on the Nissan Patrol has now been replaced by a completely new V6 petrol engine with 2 options, a 3.8L naturally aspirated engine (316 horsepower, 386 Nm of torque) and a 3.5L twin-turbocharged engine (425 horsepower, 700 Nm of torque). Power is transmitted to all 4 wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission developed by Mercedes-Benz.
In addition, the new generation Patrol is also equipped with a suspension system that can be raised up to 140 mm, making it easy to raise the chassis to overcome difficult terrain or lower the chassis to improve aerodynamics and help users get in and out of the car more easily. Along with that are 6 driving modes, meeting the needs of users on all terrains.
However, the above equipment is all cars currently on sale in the Middle East market, it is not clear which configuration will be brought to Vietnam. If the dealer's source is correct, the Patrol will be the most expensive car in the Nissan product line officially distributed in the Vietnamese market.
