Ninh Giang cleared 165 cases of traffic corridor violations

Authorities remove illegal advertising signs on Highway 37 through Tan Huong Commune (Ninh Giang)

Authorities have cleared 165 cases of violations of road traffic safety corridors on National Highway 37, the North-South axis, provincial roads 396 and 396B in the communes of Tan Huong, Nghia An, Tan Quang, Kien Quoc, Hung Long, Van Hoi, Van Phuc, Hong Duc, and An Duc.

Remove 118 billboards; clear 5 construction material gathering points, 3 market places, tents encroaching on corridors... Cut and prune tree branches to ensure they do not obstruct the view of traffic participants and ensure safety during the rainy and stormy season.

After the clearance, the District Traffic Safety Committee propagated and requested the People's Committees of the communes to sign a commitment with the violating households not to re-offend and not to hold markets in the wrong locations, causing traffic insecurity.

This is the second concentrated clearance campaign of Ninh Giang District Traffic Safety Committee in 2024. It is expected that this year, the district will organize two more clearance campaigns in September and December.
