On the morning of September 30, attending the regular monthly citizen reception of Ninh Giang District Party Secretary Pham Van Khanh and District People's Committee Chairman Phan Nhat Thanh, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province requested the district leaders to focus on resolving citizens' petitions in accordance with regulations, not allowing them to linger or cause prolonged complaints.
Professional advisory work in each field needs to be focused on to ensure that citizens are answered and resolved in accordance with regulations.
The Citizen Reception Committee of Ninh Giang district needs to promptly respond specifically to citizens about the results of handling opinions and recommendations after regular citizen reception sessions.
Comrade Le Van Hieu noted that, with the spirit of "wanting to be loved by the people, wanting to win the hearts of the people, whatever is beneficial to the people must be done with all our might, whatever is harmful to the people must be avoided with all our might", local Party committees and authorities in the district need to put the interests of the people first, whatever is beneficial to citizens must be resolutely done and done well in accordance with the provisions of the law...
At the reception, there were some opinions from citizens in Ninh Giang district reflecting on the fields of land, granting land use right certificates, building roads...
In recent times, delegates of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province have regularly visited localities to receive citizens along with leaders of Party committees and authorities to promptly and fully receive citizens' opinions right from the grassroots level; and supervise the settlement of citizens' petitions by localities.
In the first 9 months of 2024, at regular citizen receptions, the leaders of the Ninh Giang District Party Committee and People's Committee received 120 citizens with 95 people, including 2 large groups received at Hung Long and Tan Phong communes. At the commune level, there were 201 regular and unscheduled receptions of leaders of the People's Committees of communes and towns with 224 people.
The two district and commune levels in Ninh Giang had to handle a total of 382 petitions; 312 petitions were handled, reaching a rate of 81.6%.
