Euro News introduces the 6 "world's scariest" hotels, for tourists looking for a spooky experience on Halloween.
During Halloween, many travel enthusiasts are looking for "creepy" and "haunted" destinations. These accommodations are often decorated to create a gloomy, "spine-chilling" atmosphere. Below are 6 famous "haunted" accommodations in the world, compiled by Euro News.
"The Haunted Bedroom", Taliston, Great Dunmow, England
Once an ordinary house in the ancient market town of Great Dunmow, the owners of Talliston House and Gardens have transformed the property into a maze of rooms. Each holiday, such as Halloween or Christmas, the rooms are decorated differently.

"The Haunted Bedroom" is the theme of the 31/10 ghost festival. The details in the room are inspired by a seven-year-old child's nightmare, in the style of the British Edwardian period (1901-1910).
Guests can book rooms here on the online rental app. However, the place is fully booked through November.
Laura's Cottage, Savannah, Georgia, USA
Located in one of America's most famous "haunted towns", Laura's Cottage was built in 1799 and has been "completely modernized" and fully equipped with wifi. However, the decor is still rich in history.
Rumor has it that the ghost of the house’s owner, Laura, still haunts the small house. According to visitors who have stayed here, they have witnessed lights turning on and off by themselves or windows suddenly opening.
Dal Pozzo Castle, Piedmont, Italy
This place is associated with a creepy story from 1467. A young woman named Barbara fell in love with a military captain named Matteo. They planned to elope, but when her father found out, he locked her in Dal Pozzo Castle and exiled Matteo to France. Barbara had no idea that her boyfriend was exiled. While waiting for Matteo to return, Barbara despaired and died in the castle.

The castle now operates as a hotel, with some guests reporting seeing the "ghost of Barbara" looking out of the windows.
Chateau Pitau, Moscow, Russia
This small castle, located 10 km from the center of Moscow, is rumored to be home to a ghost that appears once a week at midnight. Currently, the castle is used as a place to stay, accommodating up to 9 people. Amenities here also include a swimming pool, billiards room, sauna and garden.
Haunted Apartment, York, England
This house is more than 600 years old, witnessing many ups and downs in the history of York city, located in the north of the United Kingdom.
The apartment overlooks York Minster, close to popular local ghostly attractions such as York Dungeons and Hallowscream.
Bran Castle, Transylvania

This castle was once associated with the story of "home of the vampire Dracula". The accommodation is decorated with a vampire theme. Guests will have a "creepy" experience when sleeping in a velvet-lined coffin, taking a tour of the entire castle with the grandson of the building's owner - Irish writer Bram Stoker, who specialized in stories about Dracula.
