The implementation of the "Digital Literacy for All" movement is a prerequisite, helping to improve the ability to use information technology in the community and create a solid foundation for forming a digital society and digital citizens in a substantial, thorough, synchronous and comprehensive manner; contributing to the completion of digital transformation goals, building and forming smart cities, innovation and development centers of Quang Ninh province and the Northeast region.
The Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels from the city to the grassroots promote the responsibility of collectives, individuals, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people in promoting the digital literacy movement. It is necessary to have consistent views and thoughts among cadres and people on the following contents: Ha Long City must be a pioneering locality, leading in digital transformation, and the "digital literacy" movement considers this a key and breakthrough task in the current period and the coming time;
Continue to focus on comprehensive, rapid, breakthrough and effective transformation on the three axes of "digital government", "digital economy", "digital society"; Deploy, develop and perfect information systems; standardize and digitize the operating processes of state agencies in the digital environment; promote the development of the digital economy to create a foundation to promote development, create new growth values in the city's socio-economic sectors and fields and improve the quality of life for people with focus and key points.
The Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee called on all agencies, units, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people of Ha Long City, especially the young generation, to join hands, unite, be creative, and make every effort to implement the movement "Digital Education for All", turning the city into a smart, modern and sustainably developed city.
Digital transformation has become an inevitable, irreversible trend globally. This is also the most sustainable and shortest path for Vietnam to become a high-income developed country, towards a new era - the era of growth, the era of development, the era of wealth and prosperity. For Ha Long, digital transformation is the key to opening the door to the future.
