Dalat received 2 Asian Festival Awards from IFEA ASIA

With the theme “Festivals, World Cultural Heritage and Night Economy”, taking place from March 19 to 21, Da Lat Flower Festival received a double award, including the Asia Festival 2025 - category “Asia Flower and Garden Festival of 2025” and the Asia Pinnacle Awards - category “Best Eco-Friendly Festival”.

This is the second consecutive year that the Dalat Flower Festival has been awarded this award. As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, at the 2024 Summit Awards and the Asian Festival City Conference, held in Thailand, Dalat city was awarded the Asian Festival City Award by IFEA ASIA, based on the results of successfully organizing the "Dalat Flower Festival" since 2005.

“Da Lat Flower Festival - Vietnam” was recognized by IFEA ASIA as “Asia Flower and Ecotourism Festival 2024” - category “Most beautiful flower and garden festival”, in the group of 5 impressive Festival cities in Asia.

The Dalat Flower Festival was first held in 2005, and has since been held every two years. In 2009, Dalat was recognized by the Prime Minister as the “Vietnam Flower Festival City”.

To date, Lam Dong has organized 10 Festivals, each with its own theme and message, revolving around promoting and encouraging investment in the flower, tea, silk industries and developing local tourism. The event has become a cultural and tourism festival of national and international stature.

In 2023, on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of its formation and development, Da Lat officially joined the UNESCO network of creative cities in the field of music.
