Reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Van Nga, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cau Ngang District, said: Cau Ngang District currently has 15 commune-level administrative units (13 communes, 02 towns). Currently, the district has 02 communes (My Long Bac and My Long Nam) that have been recognized as ATK communes.
Comrade Nguyen Van Nga, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cau Ngang district reported on the review, assessment and proposal for recognition of ATK commune in Cau Ngang district.
There are 02 communes that are proposing to be recognized as ATK communes (My Hoa and Long Son). Currently, the consulting unit is completing the content to prepare a scientific dossier to propose to recognize ATK communes for the 02 above units.
Also through review, Cau Ngang district currently has 02 administrative units meeting 3/5 criteria of ATK commune (Nhi Truong commune and My Long town), the remaining communes: Truong Tho, Thanh Hoa Son, Thuan Hoa, Cau Ngang town, Hiep Hoa, Kim Hoa, Hiep My Tay, Hiep My Dong, Vinh Kim meeting 2/5 criteria or less.
Comrade Truong Van Huy, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Cu district reported on the review, assessment and proposal for recognition of ATK commune in Tra Cu district.
Comrade Truong Van Huy, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Cu district, said: Tra Cu district currently has 17 commune-level administrative units (15 communes, 02 towns). Currently, the district has 07/17 commune-level administrative units recognized by the Prime Minister as ATK communes: An Quang Huu, Luu Nghiep Anh, Dinh An, Ham Tan, Phuoc Hung, Tan Son, Tap Son.
According to comrade Truong Van Huy, through the review work (by the end of 2024), the district has 03 more communes (Kim Son, Dai An and Tan Hiep) that meet 3/5 criteria, eligible to prepare scientific dossiers to propose recognition as ATK communes. Currently, the district is implementing the process of preparing dossiers to propose recognition as ATK communes for these 03 communes.
From the end of 2024 to early March 2025, the district continued to review, and the results showed that in the remaining 05 communes (Ham Giang, Ngoc Bien, Long Hiep, Ngai Xuyen, Thanh Son), there were 03 communes capable of meeting the ATK commune criteria (Ham Giang, Ngoc Bien and Long Hiep).
Comrade Tran Van Ba, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai district reported on the review, assessment and proposal for recognition of ATK communes in Duyen Hai district.
Comrade Tran Van Ba, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai district, said: Duyen Hai district has 07 commune-level administrative units. Currently, Duyen Hai district has Long Vinh commune which has been recognized as an ATK commune by the Prime Minister. The district is proposing to recognize ATK communes for 03 communes: Don Xuan, Don Chau and Dong Hai; the remaining 03 units have not met the ATK commune criteria (Long Khanh, Ngu Lac, Long Thanh town).
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai town reported on the review, assessment and proposal for recognition of ATK commune in Duyen Hai town.
Regarding Duyen Hai town, comrade Nguyen Trong Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of Duyen Hai town People's Committee said: Duyen Hai town has Truong Long Hoa commune recognized by the Prime Minister as an ATK commune; Duyen Hai town is proposing to recognize Dan Thanh commune and Long Toan commune as ATK commune; the remaining 4 units of Ward 1, Ward 2, Long Huu commune and Hiep Thanh commune are reviewing documents and coordinating with relevant agencies and historical witnesses to consolidate the criteria.
Comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
Speaking at the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong requested that for communes that have met the conditions and have proposed to be recognized as ATK communes, localities should quickly complete procedures, complete scientific records, carefully study the content of ATK commune criteria, develop a report with full content and persuasiveness to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for appraisal, then send it to the Central Government for consideration.
Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong gave a speech at the meeting.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: for the benefit of the people, the Party Committee, the government, and relevant agencies must urgently and resolutely focus on implementing this issue well; the people cannot be disadvantaged due to the delay and lack of attention from localities.
