Along with the festival activities held at Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024, in recent days, many exciting entertainment activities have taken place, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch, cheer and immerse themselves in the colorful cultural space, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for everyone attending this event.
After the opening day of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An", in the mornings at Dinh Cac yard near Tam Coc boat station, the program "Exchange of folk dance, sword dance, dagger dance, bare-handed martial arts and folk games" attracted the participation of 11/11 Women's Unions of communes and towns in Hoa Lu district. Every day, 3 units participated in performing folk dance; sword dance, dagger dance, bare-handed dance; folk games. All created a vibrant, joyful atmosphere, making an impression on visitors when attending the Tourism Week event in Ninh Binh.
While cheering enthusiastically for the home team participating in the tug of war game, Ms. Do Thi Huyen, Ninh Van commune said: Every year, whenever the Tourism Week is organized, we arrange our family work to go watch and cheer for the commune team. Through exchange activities, we help our women's association members have a useful and healthy playground, helping members actively participate in the Association organization.
Another activity that attracted a large number of tourists and people to participate was the Goat Fighting Festival, which was held for the first time, creating a new feeling for tourists. This was the first time the Goat Fighting Festival was held at the provincial level with the participation of 8/8 Farmers' Associations of districts and cities. The Goat Fighting Festival was organized to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to serve tourists and people attending the Tourism Week.
Present early in the morning at Ninh Hai Commune Stadium to watch the goats compete, Mr. Vu Van Tuan in Hamlet 3, Ninh Hai Commune said: The first time I watched the Goat Fighting Festival live, I was very surprised because the goats were normally gentle and shy, but when they entered the match, they were very brave with attacks, defenses and very attractive and beautiful fights. Not only me but many spectators at the stadium cheered enthusiastically, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere, leaving an impression on every spectator who came to watch.
Comrade Dinh Hong Thai, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, said: By organizing the Goat Fighting Festival for the first time, we hope to bring a new tourism product to visitors when attending Ninh Binh Tourism Week. This is also an opportunity for all levels and sectors in the province to pay attention to, encourage and motivate farmers, cooperatives, branches and associations raising and processing products from Ninh Binh mountain goats to meet, exchange and share experiences in selecting goat breeds, techniques for caring for, training and processing products from Ninh Binh goats.
After the success of the Goat Fighting Festival, the owners of establishments and tourism businesses are interested in opening new tourism products imbued with the identity of the Millennium Heritage land such as: Goat Fighting Festival, Goat Racing Festival, Goat Beauty Contest... and have more culinary products from goat to serve tourists and people inside and outside the province.
Another equally exciting and attractive activity is that in the evenings, at Dinh Cac yard near Tam Coc boat station, there is a cultural exchange program performed by artists from Ninh Binh Cheo Theater and non-professional artists from the art troupes of communes and towns in Hoa Lu district, attracting a large number of people to watch and cheer. The sweet and profound melodies of Xam and Cheo singing have kept tourists coming back to Tam Coc...
It can be seen that the entertainment activities organized at the "Golden Colors of Tam Coc - Trang An" Tourism Week in 2024 have contributed to creating highlights and colorful spaces for tourists when visiting and experiencing Ninh Binh, creating an impression of a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, friendly and hospitable.
