The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize the 2023 Provincial Gong Culture Festival with the theme "Gia Lai - Cultural Colors". The Festival is an event to honor the value of the Central Highlands gong cultural space in the spirit of the Action Program to restore, preserve and promote the value of the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; to propagate and mobilize ethnic groups inside and outside the province to preserve and promote the cultural identity and traditions of the Vietnamese ethnic community.

This is also an opportunity for ethnic groups in the Central Highlands provinces to meet, exchange culture, exchange and learn experiences in the work of preserving, promoting and promoting the Central Highlands gong cultural space. At the same time, it creates conditions to introduce the image of Gia Lai to domestic and international friends, expand investment opportunities, connect the Central Highlands provinces to develop the region to ensure security - politics, develop the economy - society, attract tourism through the form of festivals, promote the cultural identity of the Central Highlands ethnic groups.
According to the plan, the 2023 Provincial Gong Culture Festival will have the participation of about 1,000 ethnic minority artisans from 17 districts, towns and cities in the province and the Central Highlands provinces including Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Kon Tum.
The opening ceremony will take place on November 11 at Dai Doan Ket Square. The program will announce and receive the Certificate of ranking as a special national monument of Roc Tung - Go Da and announce the national treasure of the An Khe Paleolithic Tool Collection.

The closing ceremony will take place on November 12 with a comprehensive art program and gong festival of 17 districts, towns and cities in Gia Lai province and delegations from other provinces participating, promising to be unique and attractive.
Within the framework of the Festival, there will be many activities such as: Street festival; community cultural activities; introduction of traditional folk festivals and rituals; display and exhibition of Central Highlands musical instruments; art photos of Gia Lai culture; introduction of special national relics and national treasures of Gia Lai province; introduction of Central Highlands culinary culture; performances of weaving, weaving, sculpture, Gia Lai tourism experience program.
In addition, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee also requires that the activities participating in the Festival must be carefully selected and imbued with the national and local cultural identity; ensuring quality, artistic content, national identity, diversity, uniqueness and high educational propaganda.
