Many exciting and innovative activities at the Reading Culture Festival

In the series of "Reading Culture Festival 2023 - Southeast and South Central Region Library Association", with the theme "Books for me, for you", there are many exciting activities taking place at Binh Thuan Provincial Library and schools in Phan Thiet City and Ham Thuan Bac.

*Combining folk games with learning knowledge*

Each library in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan provinces shares a content, aiming to improve service quality and revive reading culture.

Many libraries have vividly combined folk games with the system of knowledge of natural sciences, society, and literature to create excitement for participants. Such as the fun game of jumping on bamboo poles - assembling pictures, the game of walking a thousand miles to find books, jumping rope to pass on knowledge, blindfolded pig-smashing to bring knowledge organized by Binh Duong Library. Organizing mobile library vehicles and watching fun science films, making photo collages according to the films; presenting the STEM program in current education and making gas rockets... by Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library. Exchange activities with author Vu Thanh Trung - from Binh Thuan about the war memoir "Tears and joy - The heroic years of fighting on the Eastern battlefield"... In addition, there is also the participation of bookstores with many special discount programs.

The Reading Culture Festival is displaying and introducing more than 1,500 books of all kinds, helping readers easily access many desired documents. This is a cultural activity in the series of events of the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". With many innovative and creative ways taking place, the Southeast and South Central Region Library Association aims to better meet the needs of readers, nurture and maintain interest in reading and improve reading culture for the people.
