Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother was born in a land rich in revolutionary and studious traditions; the Hoang family's hometown was in Van Noi village, Hong Tien commune, Khoai Chau district. She embodied the noble qualities of a traditional Vietnamese woman: responsible, kind, patient, hard-working, devoted to her husband and children.

To show respect and honor her great contributions, in 2003, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province decided to start building a church (now the Memorial House) on the land of Van Noi village, Hong Tien commune.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the restoration and embellishment of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

The project has bold traditional architecture, in harmony with the space and landscape of the Northern Delta countryside, in the old grounds of Van Noi communal house, with a total area of ​​4,377.6m2 and was inaugurated in 2005.

This is one of the important projects of the province, practically welcoming the 16th Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, a place for people from all walks of life inside and outside the province to come and offer incense, visit, commemorate and express their respect and admiration for the good qualities, the lifelong sacrifice for husband and children and the dedication to the Vietnamese nation of a great son, that is President Ho Chi Minh.

On July 26, 2023, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 1555/QD-CTUBND ranking the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Hong Tien commune, Khoai Chau district as a provincial historical relic.

After nearly 20 years of use, some items of the relic have deteriorated. Therefore, in order to preserve, maintain and promote the values ​​of the relic; with the attention of provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors, in early 2024, Khoai Chau District People's Committee implemented the Project to restore and embellish the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

After 6 months of construction, with a sense of responsibility, determination, effort, and overcoming difficulties. Up to now, the restoration and embellishment of items and auxiliary works of the Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House has been completed.

In a solemn atmosphere, speaking at the ceremony, Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia acknowledged and commended the efforts of Khoai Chau district and local authorities at all levels in preserving and promoting the value of the historical relic of Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House.

At the same time, it is recommended that Khoai Chau district and Hong Tien commune continue to strengthen management, restoration and promotion of the value of the relic in accordance with the Law on Cultural Heritage and related regulations. In particular, the Memorial House is an address for educating patriotism for the young generation and the people; it is a destination for tourists.

Also at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van awarded the Provincial Historical Relic Certificate for the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan to representatives of Khoai Chau district leaders.
