On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Sector's Traditional Day (August 1, 1930 - August 1, 2024), on the morning of July 30, journalist Nguyen Hong Vinh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, had a talk about propaganda work with the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and leaders and former leaders of Hai Duong Newspaper, and the provincial Radio and Television Station.
Speaking at the talk, journalist Nguyen Hong Vinh emphasized the important role of propaganda and ideological work in carrying out political tasks. The journalist emphasized that those working in propaganda and education need to do a good job of information and propaganda work, thoroughly grasp the Party's resolutions and directives, orient public opinion, and do a good job of ideological work to serve the stable development of the country and locality.
Journalist Nguyen Hong Vinh believes that propaganda agencies must always be one step ahead, forecast the situation well, synthesize and grasp public opinion, especially public opinion related to politics, ideology, culture, and people. In particular, those who do propaganda work must have a moving, warm heart but need a very calm head, especially when dealing with sensitive, complicated issues. Encouraging the positive results of propaganda and press work in Hai Duong in recent times, journalist Nguyen Hong Vinh also expressed his hope that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Hai Duong Newspaper, and the Provincial Radio and Television Station will constantly innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of their operations. Clearly define the goals, propagate the Party's guidelines, policies and strategies accurately and in accordance with reality, while helping people better understand important issues and actively participate in political, social and economic activities of the country and locality. Propaganda work needs to continue to promote the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fight against erroneous and hostile views. In his closing remarks, Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, respectfully thanked journalist Nguyen Hong Vinh for his valuable comments and good feelings for Hai Duong in general and the agencies and units working in propaganda in particular.
