Thanks to that, the quality and value of local agricultural products have been gradually affirmed, and the agricultural, forestry and fishery market is increasingly expanding. Currently, the whole province has 4,406.25 hectares of crops certified as safe; 3 livestock farms have been recognized for applying VietGAP good livestock production practices, 17 farms have been recognized for disease safety, and over 40,000 farms have applied biogas technology to treat livestock waste; over 300 agricultural and food production, processing and trading establishments have been granted food safety certificates or certificates for applying advanced quality management programs (HACCP, ISO 22000); mobilizing 71,100 primary production, preliminary processing and small-scale businesses to sign a commitment to produce and trade safe agricultural and food products (accounting for 93% of the total number of establishments in the province)...
Traditional product in Hung Lo commune, Viet Tri city, in recent years, Hung Lo rice noodles have been constantly affirming their brand and quality in the domestic and export markets. Mr. Cao Dang Duy - Director of Hung Lo Rice Noodles Cooperative said: In recent times, thanks to timely support from the province's agricultural development policies, programs and projects, the Cooperative has boldly invested in modern machinery and equipment to synchronize the production process and build a brand for local traditional rice noodle products.
Currently, the Cooperative has nearly 10 types of noodles and vermicelli products; of which 3 noodle products are rated as 4-star OCOP. In 2024, the Cooperative will consume an average of 50-60 tons of rice noodles per month, with a revenue of more than 20 billion VND/year, creating regular jobs for 35 workers with an income of 6.5 million VND/person/month.
To improve the quality and value of the products, in the coming time, the Cooperative will register and complete the necessary licenses such as EFSA, FDA, CE; focus on building the brand, developing different product lines such as gluten-free rice noodles, rice noodles made from organic ingredients or noodles for dieters; increase product promotion on e-commerce platforms and participate in international trade promotion conferences....
By 2025, the provincial Department of Agriculture strives for the target of 100% of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments being certified as meeting food safety conditions; 95.0% of establishments not subject to the Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility will sign a commitment to produce safe food; increase by 10% the area of key crops (tea, grapefruit, vegetables, etc.), the number of livestock and aquaculture establishments applying and being certified for good agricultural production practices (such as VietGAP, GAHP and equivalent) compared to 2024; build and develop at least 15 more safe agricultural, forestry and fishery food supply chains with essential products, key local products, chains linked to the implementation of the OCOP Program, creating close links between producers and suppliers with the consumer market;...
