Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee proposes specific mechanisms and policies for development
Making recommendations to the General Secretary and the working delegation, the Secretary of the City Party Committee proposed that the Politburo allow Da Nang City (after the merger and formation of a new administrative unit) to continue to inherit all development orientations according to Conclusion No. 79 of the Politburo, Resolution 136 and Resolution 170 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies for city development, and approved plans of the two localities to continue to be implemented and adjusted in accordance with the new orientation and scale. Regarding the implementation of Resolution 57, it is recommended that specific and special mechanisms and policies be soon developed to attract social resources to quickly invest in infrastructure for science, technology, and innovation.
Regarding the formation of the Regional Financial Center, Da Nang has currently planned clean land funds of more than 16 hectares and has the potential to expand by 62 hectares. At the same time, it is also implementing investment attraction in infrastructure, human resource training, especially the management apparatus of the Financial Center. The city proposes to institutionalize in the National Assembly's Resolution on the Financial Center in Vietnam with specific and breakthrough mechanisms.
The City Party Secretary also proposed allowing Da Nang to soon implement a number of investment projects; requested the Ministry of Finance to consider submitting to the Government a plan to call for investment in Lien Chieu port as proposed by the city to ensure the overall and synchronous nature of the Lien Chieu port area.
After inspecting the actual construction of Lien Chieu port - the shared infrastructure, General Secretary To Lam also agreed and proposed to promote calling for strategic investors to invest synchronously in the port in the future. At the same time, he also requested that the planning of transport infrastructure connecting to the port must ensure the most convenient movement of goods; study models in other countries, apply technology, and operate the port in a smart direction./.
