150 delegates attending the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Cu Chi district consulted 31 members of the Youth Union's committee, and directly consulted with District Youth Union Secretary Tran Tan Thanh to be re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Cu Chi district for the 2024-2029 term.
The Congress voted on many key targets for the 2024 - 2029 period. Specifically, at least one activity will be organized annually to equip young people with entrepreneurial knowledge; 40,000 young people will participate in digital capacity building activities.
Support at least five innovative startup projects; provide career counseling and guidance to 30,000 people.
Introduce jobs to 12,000 young people, of which 30% have stable jobs. In addition, exploit at least 15 billion VND of sources to support young people to borrow capital to do business and start a business.
Secretary of the City Youth Union - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai said that it is necessary to fully understand and forecast the youth situation in the new period. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to educating the youth to understand and inherit the revolutionary tradition of the district, as well as focusing on projects and tasks towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
Mr. Hai noted the need to establish spaces for young people to access technology. At the same time, proactively advise and make recommendations to district leaders on policies to support young people in digital transformation and applying information technology in studying, working, and doing business, so that young people can quickly and synchronously access and apply information technology and digital transformation in starting a business and establishing a career.
According to Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, the Association's work must be close to, understand and identify young people. Because the forecast of increasingly strong development of high technology, artificial intelligence, global trends in the next five years along with the desire to learn and self-assertion of the new generation of young people will certainly lead to changes in the thinking and approach of young people to social issues.
"This requires the Association to truly be a friend of the youth, close to the youth, understand the youth and, importantly, identify the face of local youth through movement activities and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the youth," Mr. Hai emphasized.

At the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nha Be district, 120 delegates consulted 27 people to join the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of the district.

Some of the new term targets agreed upon include striving for 10,000 youths to participate in digital capacity building activities, supporting at least 3 effective youth economic models or innovative start-up projects each year. Along with that, providing career counseling and guidance to 5,000 youths, introducing jobs to 1,000 youths, and developing 7,000 new members.
Accompanying young people to improve digital capacity, innovate and innovate methods of organizing volunteer activities, improving the quality of youth gathering was selected as the program for the term 2024 - 2029.
