On the morning of February 22, Thai Binh city held a conference to review the work of site clearance, land fund development in 2023 and deploy key tasks in 2024. Attending the conference were comrade Hoang Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; leaders of the City People's Committee; departments, offices, units, wards and communes in the area.

In 2023, Thai Binh city focused on directing the drastic implementation of site clearance work to ensure time, progress, and compliance with regulations; directed the preparation and approval of 65 plans with a total amount of VND 450 billion, disbursed VND 300 billion to over 400 units, businesses, households, and individuals; and reviewed enforcement.

In 2024, the city will develop a plan to focus on site clearance for about 46 projects, of which 24 new projects will be implemented; the site clearance area is over 360 hectares, involving over 3,000 households and individuals with a cost of nearly 3,000 billion VND. At the same time, continue to focus on accelerating site clearance for key projects, commercial housing development projects, and resource generation projects such as: Project to relocate production and business establishments, headquarters of agencies, units and some residential areas along the Tra Ly River in Thai Binh city to serve the urban development project (phase 1, 2); Project to develop commercial housing and new urban areas in Dong Hoa and Tan Binh communes and Tien Phong and Hoang Dieu wards; Thai Binh road to Con Vanh; Regarding the plan to auction land use rights and develop land funds in 2024, the city strives to ensure a revenue of 670 billion VND.

To effectively implement the proposed plan, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested relevant levels, sectors, units and localities to focus on directing the drastic implementation of land acquisition and clearance work right from the beginning of the year, ensuring publicity, transparency, compliance with legal procedures and the legitimate interests of the people; continue to promote propaganda, mobilization and dialogue so that people agree to comply with land acquisition and clearance for projects; strengthen land management, promptly resolve petitions and complaints related to land acquisition and clearance work, and avoid backlogs and resentment among the people. At the same time, strictly enforce land recovery for organizations and individuals who deliberately do not comply, ensuring the strictness of the law.
