Preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, on the afternoon of January 13, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the elderly, and people in difficult circumstances in Thai Binh city.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other members of the delegation visited and encouraged the health of the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Hue.

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Vu Thanh Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Colonel Tran Xuan Anh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and leaders of Thai Binh city.

The Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other leaders visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Hue, born in 1932, in Nghia Thang village, Dong Hoa commune; 100-year-old Vu Thi Gian, in Group 5, Hoang Dieu ward and attended the gift-giving ceremony for near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances in Thai Binh city.

At the families, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep feelings and gratitude to the policy families in general and the family of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Hue in particular; wished Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and the elderly good health, longevity, and a warm and happy traditional New Year.

Thai Binh city leaders gave gifts to celebrate Tet with Ms. Vu Thi Gian.

He requested that all levels, sectors, localities and Thai Binh city continue to pay more attention and care for the lives of families of people with revolutionary contributions and the elderly in the area; always pay attention and care for both material and spiritual needs so that people with revolutionary contributions and the elderly in the area can live happily and healthily.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gave a speech to encourage and wish a happy new year to policy households in Thai Binh city.

At the gift-giving ceremony for disadvantaged families, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the activity of giving Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances is a good tradition, demonstrating profound humanity during each Tet holiday. Thai Binh province identifies this as a key activity of the entire political system to better care for people's lives. Although the value of each gift is not large, it is sentiment and responsibility, helping families have more resources to celebrate Tet more fully.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Thai Binh city to continue to better implement social security work, especially taking care of policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances with very practical and meaningful actions, to ensure that everyone is shared and encouraged during the traditional New Year of the nation.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that families will continue to make efforts and strive to improve their lives to escape poverty and near-poverty; promote a sense of responsibility and set an example in implementing all policies and guidelines of the Party and policies and laws of the State to contribute to building Thai Binh city to be more civilized, modern and developed.
